well, I mentioned in the morning coffee thread earlier that my site got screwed up by the crashing of the server it's on. well, it's worse than I thought..I thought at first it was just a few pages, but it turns out that most of the site is gone. I'm going to have to rebuild the whole thing, which will take me several hours. especially as I still haven't managed to make a list of everything that's gone, as there's so much of it. damn, damn damn damn. this is going to be a huge pain in the ass.

and now back to your regularly scheduled toy talk...

If you have a cd burner and a CD-RW.. I have a suggestion.. Make all the pages, HTML formats and stuff, and burn em, along with any images and stuff.. Then you won't have as much trouble if somethin like this ever happens again..

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">well, not gone for good..I'm insanely paranoid about losing my stuff, so I have every poem and story I've ever written backed up on multiple CD-Rs. it's just a matter of recreating the pages for them. I've been working on that this afternoon..I have about half of them restored, but not linked to a main page yet.

    You can rebuild it.
    You have the technology.
You have the capability to make the world's first Bionic web-page.
    Serpentsdance.com will be that page.
    Better than it was before.
    Better . . . stronger . . . faster.
